The area offers excellent facilities for climbers of all standards, from raw novice to expert. Avoriaz and Sameons offer 'Via Ferreta' - essentially climbing along a cliff face whilst attached to pre-fixed steel cables. Lots of exhilaration, but of course completely safe.

With local guides we can arrange climbing in Le Vallee d'Aulps and Via Ferratta at Avoriaz or nearby Sameons. These can be booked by the half day and are available to experienced climbers, children and beginners.

Via Ferratta is a system of climbing with a harness and 2 carabineers, one always attached to a security line embedded in the rock face. A variation of this approach has lead to several Adventure Parks, climbing through trees, negotiating different obstacles and zip wires.
