After an incredible season of snow we finally had a chance to ski the Vallee Blanche on Thurs 13 April 2006. Leaving the chalet at 7 o'clock in the morning we reached Chamonix at 8am, found our guide and started the day's adventure. With the Aguille du Midi hidden in High cloud it was a cold start (-15C), but we soon dropped altitude and skied through powder for 3 hours!
